Ms. Arzoo Bhatia completed her Masters in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada. She has worked in various settings over the past 4 years in India and Canada including rehabilitation centres, Campuses, Disability homes, and clinics. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), Emotionally-Focused (EFT), Psychosomatic, Mindfulness, and Narrative approaches. Focusing on but not limited to client issues such as stress and anger management, depression, anxiety, OCD, addictions, existential crisis, relationship and interpersonal problems.
Arzoo believes human suffering is inevitable, and with support, connection and a safe non-judgemental space to share, reflect and integrate new meanings the suffering can be more manageable. Her approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, maintaining confidentiality and autonomy.
Her role is to challenge you when need be, with compassion, and to use her academic and personal experience to guide the process, and to work collaboratively with you to reach your goals.
Arzoo works with adult clients 18+ years of age. She has experience working with couples, individuals, and groups. Arzoo welcomes client's from all backgrounds, cultures and communities. LGBTQ+ friendly.
